Espoo is Helsinki’s nearby neighbour, so close it’s only a couple of Metro stops from downtown Helsinki. It hasn’t traditionally been home to many public saunas, but there has been an ever increasing number opening up that are well worth a visit. For those wanting to connect to nature, Espoo is also home to Nuuksio National Park. There aren’t any major public saunas in the Nuuksio forest, but there are some that can be booked privately.
